McCollum Consultants welcomes Mr David Iles as an expert witness

McCollum Consultants is delighted to welcome Mr David Iles to its panel of expert witnesses. Mr Iles is a Consultant Subspecialist Urogynaecologist and Clinical Lead of the Warrell Unit at St Mary's Hospital, Manchester — one of the largest tertiary urogynaecology referral centres in the United Kingdom and a national centre for the management of mesh complications.

With more than twenty years' experience in medicine and full subspecialty accreditation in urogynaecology, Mr Iles brings considerable clinical and medico-legal expertise across pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor surgery. He has a particular specialist interest in mesh-related complications, including complex mesh removal and revision, and in obstetric anal sphincter injury and perineal trauma, the subject of his MD research.

Having completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate, Mr Iles is available to provide independent expert opinion in personal injury and clinical negligence matters, accepting instructions from both Claimant and Defendant solicitors.
