Mr Wee Sim Khor

Mr Wee Sim Khor is a dual‑fellowship‑trained Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery who works for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, providing services at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley & South Ribble Hospital. His NHS practice covers skin cancer excision and reconstruction, complex reconstructive plastic surgery, and the full spectrum of hand surgery including tendon, nerve, fracture, amputation and fingertip injuries. Since 2023 he has also operated as a medico-legal expert witness, producing more than 50 detailed reports each year on hand trauma, burns, scarring and lower limb reconstruction. He holds the Cardiff University Bond Solon Civil Expert Witness Certificate.

His clinical focus lies in skin cancer management and aesthetic reconstruction, broad reconstructive plastic surgery (scar revision, flap and graft coverage), and hand surgery, with a subspecialty emphasis on reconstructive techniques such as revision tendon surgery, staged flexor‑tendon reconstruction and soft‑tissue coverage, as well as the treatment of small‑joint arthritis through injections, joint replacement and fusion.
