Thrombectomy Expert Witnesses

A thrombectomy is a procedure performed to remove a blood clot (thrombus) from a blood vessel. Thrombectomy is performed by inserting a catheter into a blood vessel under X-ray guidance, followed by mechanically removing the blood clot through the catheter. Once the thrombus has been removed, blood flow through the blood vessel is restored.
