Dr Anantha Krishnan

Dr Krishnan is a Consultant Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at the Manchester Royal Infirmary where he is the Radiology Lead for the treatment of complex thoracic and abdominal aneurysms. His practice entails general radiology and specialist vascular radiology imaging and interventions. He routinely undertakes interventional radiology procedures including embolisation, angioplasty, stent-insertion, and hepatic and transplant interventions.

Dr Krishnan's research interests include uterine and prostatic artery embolisation, imaging and intervention. He is currently involved in trials investigating peripheral vascular disease (PVD), pelvic vein embolisation, and fistula intervention.

Dr Krishnan is an author of several original papers, abstracts, case reports, technical notes, book chapters and reviews published in leading radiology and interventional radiology Journals.
